Referral Process

Appointments can be booked for assessments with or without referral from a medical practitioner simply by contacting us.

Extended Medical Coverage

For clients with extended medical benefits a referral from may be necessary from a physician or other medical practitioner. Hamilton Orthotic Services will not bill medical plans directly but will provide the necessary paperwork to ensure re-imbursement from your extended medical plan. It is the responsibility of the individual client to determine what criteria are necessary for re-imbursement under extended medical plans.

ICBC and Worksafe BC

Hamilton Orthotic Services may be able to bill Worksafe BC and ICBC directly for orthotic services, if such services have been approved by your ICBC or Worksafe BC claims adjustor.
