Foot Orthotics:

A biomechanical assessment is done to determine if orthotics will be beneficial for each individual client. Clients are then casted in a non weight bearing position and positive molds of the feet are used to create the custom made foot orthotics. Foot orthotics can help treat mechanical misalignments of the lower extremity, as well as reducing stress that may be causing pain or dysfunction. We also offer heat molded custom fit orthotics that are ideal for children.

The following is a list of some of the conditions that orthotics may be beneficial for:
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Metatarsalgia
  • Patello-Femoral Pain Syndrome
  • Hallux Valgus
  • Over-pronation
  • Mechanical Back Pain
  • Pes Planus (flat feet)
  • Pes Cavus (high arches)

Knee Braces:

A thorough assessment is done to determine the best knee brace to meet your needs and provide you with the appropriate amount of stability and support. We provide both custom made and pre-fabricated knee braces.

There are basically two types of custom knee braces: those that provide you with ligament support and those that provide "off-loading" capability to an injured or damaged joint due to osteoarthritis or cartilage (meniscal) damage.


We also offer a variety of pre-fabricated knee braces for a number of conditions including:
  • Patello-Femoral Pain Syndrome
  • Mild ligament instability
  • Patella Tendonitis
  • Chondromalacia Patellae
  • Osgood Schlatter Disease
  • Patellar subluxation
  • Osteo Arthritis

Wrist and Finger Splints:

A thorough assessment is done to determine the best treatment approach for each individual. Custom made splints come in low heat and high heat thermoplastic materials as well as leather. The following are some conditions that can be treated in concert with therapy:
  • Fractures and sprains of the fingers, wrist, or elbow
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Ulnar collateral ligament injury
  • Trigger thumb or finger
  • Lateral epicondylitis
  • Medial epicondylitis

Foot and Toe Splints:

Custom made toe dividers can be made to benefit individuals with hammer toes, hallux valgus, or those who are missing toes. Toe dividers can aid in the redistribution of force while walking, which promotes a more functional gait pattern. Custom made splints can be fabricated for severe deformities.

Other pre-fabricated products:

  • Ankle braces with varying levels of support

  • AFO (ankle-foot orthotic): can increase walking efficiency which by helping to compensate for foot drop due to muscle weakness caused by injury

  • Air cast walking boot to immobilize foot or lower leg
